I've been making tack for my horses ever since I can remember. When I was about 12, I braided reins for all my friends. Then I started making headstalls, belts and many other things. When the crystal craze hit the barrel racing scene about 10 years ago, I could afford all the cool blinged out tack, so I started making my own. When I traveled, people liked my stuff, so I started selling it. Now that I no longer rodeo and work in the city, I've started making flip flops and western jewelry.
